the call of a morning ritual
to break it all up

to feel into
those slow moments
the whisper of a favourite cup
its natural curves
and coffee contained within
the moon as she climbs
rising, rising
ripe with potential
the promise of the new
as we smudge away the old
clear some space
reset and repeat
